What MYCF Camp Directors & Owners have to say about Great Northern Carpentry:
"Len's understanding of the 'camp culture', cash flow, and building time frames makes him the ultimate youth camp carpenter.  Len has built and remodeled many buildings on our property and will continue to do so in the future"
Jim Gill, Owner/Director, Fernwood Cove

"I have had the pleasure of contracting Len Bogh/Great Northern Carpentry for two projects at Wawenock.  In each case, Len was insightful and creative in his suggestions while remaining pragmatic with regard to our budget.  Len is a craftsman of the highest order who  goes out of his way to meet the goals of a project, whatever the scale.  He is an intelligent and personable man who finds ways to connect with the people he works with - including our site and facility staff.  He truly 'gets' the desire of a camp director who wants to maintain the look and character of existing structures while bringing them up to modern standards.  He can skillfully match or replace any existing 'old-school' carpentry as well as create his own 'heritage quality' work, if desired.  I highly recommend you include Great Northern Carpentry in your bids short list for any future projects!"
Andy Sangster, Director, Camp Wawenock

Great Northern Carpentry's owner and head carpenter, Len Bogh, has been building projects for Maine summer camps for nearly a decade, from constructing simple foot bridges to designing and finishing the interior of a 3, 600 square foot timber-frame shell into a camp office.  He's built bunks, shower houses, infirmaries and activity buildings, and renovated, reconfigured and built additions onto numerous older structures.  In working with camp owners and directors, Len focuses his designs on both the functional needs of the camp community and blending in new work seamlessly with the style of existing structures.
As a camp contractor, Len brings strong communication and organizational skills into his work and understands the importance of scheduling construction in accordance with both the seasons and the cycles of camps' cash flow.  In addition, Len brings the added experience of having been Fernwood Cove's Head of Construction over the last 2 years.
Great Northern is now available to handle all of your camp building needs, large and small.  Call or email us for a free consultation, or say hello at the next MYCA meeting.
